A storm-damage job we did
A real roof rescue job we handled.
We recently worked on a roof that had gone well past a quick patch. The safe option was to strip the roof right back, inspect what was underneath and rebuild it properly. That kind of calm, step-by-step work is exactly what matters after serious storm damage too.
First we made the area safe and got the roof opened up so we could see the real condition of the structure. Once that was clear, new timber was lifted in by crane, the roof was set out again and fresh breather membrane and battens went down before the covering went back on.
The point is simple: when a storm leaves a roof vulnerable, the right answer is not guesswork. It is careful inspection, tidy make-safe work and a repair plan that matches what the roof actually needs once the coverings are opened up.
